Hip-Hop/R&B girl group XG released their second mini-album, ‘AWE’ on November 8th. Fans anticipated the release of this album as ‘AWE,’ which would follow their first mini-album titled ‘NEW DNA’ for nearly a year. ‘AWE’ concentrates on the fear and curiosity one might feel when encountering something new and taps into XG’s growth. The eight-track album includes pre-releases “SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT” and “IYKYK” as well as the remix track “WOKE UP REMIXX” that includes artists such as Jay Park, OZworld, AKLO, and many more.

Throughout the album, XG aimed to inspire a sense of wonder and give fans an immersive experience as they went about their everyday lives.
LEAD SINGLE
The lead single, “HOWLING,” captures XG’s unique sound. With a blend of upbeat bass and synths, this track made for a good album lead. The members paid homage to their symbolic animal, the wolf, by howling and bringing the song’s energy to life. Their message, “THAT’S HOW WE HOWL,” shows listeners they’re resilient, strong, and confident in their craft. Additionally, the track is paired with a music video that illustrates XG as a visitor from space. As they transform the environment into their world, they make their mark, and their “wolf-pack” mentality keeps them together as they take on the world.
In addition to the tracks listed above, you’ll hear others, such as “HOWL,” “SPACE MEETING Skit,” “IN THE RAIN,” and “IS THIS LOVE.” We are so excited that XG has another unique project to show us. They continue to surprise fans with their creative concepts, and we cannot wait to see what else they have up their sleeves.
